Percnet
Interactive design work, 2022
Interactive electromagnetic percussion instrument using solenoids and 3D printed beater mechanisms to strike resonant objects.
Uses Particle Argon microcontroller to connect to a web interface that allows multiple users to control the sequencer over the internet (see video).
Solenoids can also be operated as a standalone instrument, with the control unit capable of accepting Eurorack compatible triggers to actuate the beaters.

Puzzle piece generator
Illustrator script, 2025
Generates a jigsaw puzzle suitable for laser cutting, with user modifiable parameters.
Applies slight random deviation to tab/socket orientation, placement and size, and uses different colours for horizontal, vertical and edge lines for sequenced cutting.

Bounce
Interactive design work, 2020
Interactive music environment using a simple physics engine to create melodies. Using the buttons along the bottom of the screen, an on-screen device launches balls towards adjustable barriers, at regular intervals.
Combinations of launch frequency and maximum onscreen objects result in the emergence of unique patterns.
Boss Fight
Multi-platform interactive work, 2021
Generative artwork using MIDI and audio input from a drum machine to influence the movement of a “player” object on screen.
When player crosses path with other objects, MIDI events are sent back to the drum machine, influencing the sound and effectively creating a feedback loop.
Fractured Opus
Video game, 2020
Isometric 3D puzzle/exploration game created using Unity engine.

Dungeon
Interactive design work, 2021
Abstract musical sequencer inspired by procedurally generated roguelike games. The player collects objects from the upper area of the screen and deposits them in the lower row, which is an eight step sequencer activated by pressing the spacebar key.
Rhythm
Music sequencer, 2021
Procedural sequencer application created in Max/MSP as a homage to Mark Fell.
Phase
Interactive design work, 2021
Minimalist interactive artwork exploring melodic and rhythmic patterns. A side effect of inaccurate timing causes the bounce patterns to shift slowly, evoking a hypnotic experience.
