I am a creative technologist living in Melbourne, Australia. My creative practice covers many disciplines of art and technology, with a strong focus on music related works and clean, minimal design.
Interactive design
My work in interactive design focuses on simplified, browser-based musical environments.
Working in a maker space has provided me with the experience and resources to include the use of microcontrollers, 3D printing, laser cutting, and IoT technology to connect bespoke physical interfaces and kinetic sculptures to web-based applications.
Music
I have been a musician for most of my life, and have released music under various pseudonyms and band names for over twenty years.
My performance history includes featured appearances at Dark Mofo, Square Sounds Festival Melbourne/Tokyo, and support for artists such as Sunn O))), Clark and Peep Tempel.
Recently, I have been expanding into deeper disciplines of sound design, including procedural sound implementation, preset/sample pack design, and soundtrack work.
Visual design
I have a career background in print design and technical illustration, which includes generative and procedural design implementation for both practical and artistic use cases.
I am also highly interested in abstract and experimental typography, and have designed several typefaces, some of which have appeared in promotional materials and branding.
